Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla made history by leaving for a visit to the International Space Station (ISS) with three other astronauts on Wednesday under the Commercial Mission operated by the Ex -Space. Through the Russian spacecraft, an Indian visit is taking place 41 years after the space trip of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma. Rakesh Sharma of India, 41 years ago, was eight days in the class in 1984 under the then Soviet Union’s Salute-7 space station.

Success after several delays
Due to weather conditions and technical problems, the projection of Axiom-4 was delayed several times. The successful launch on 25 June marks the sixth set attempt declared by NASA. The mission also stars NASA’s former NASA astronaut Paigi Whitson along with Shukla, who serves as commanders, as well as Mission expert Slavose Slavose Slavose Uznanski-Visnivski and Tibor Kapu from Hungary. The Axiom-4 mission is a symbol of return to space not only for India but also for Poland and Hungary.
This journey will inspire new generation
Shukla said in his message that Namaskar, my dear countrymen; After 41 years we have reached space, it was a wonderful ride (travel). He said that at this time we are circling around the earth at a speed of seven and a half kilometers per second and my tricolor is with me on my shoulder, telling me that I am not alone, (but) I am with you all. Shukla said that this is not the beginning of my journey up to my ISS, (rather) It is the beginning of India’s human space program and I want all the countrymen to be a part of this journey. Come, let us all start this human space journey of India.

His mother Asha Shukla, with tears in his eyes, expressed happiness and confidence in his son’s success, and accepted to wait for him to return after a successful mission, as well as admitted that his son could take some time to meet him. The proud parents were involved in the large crowd at the World Unity Convention Center Auditorium on CMS Kanpur Road, where they saw the launch live. The meeting included his sisters, senior defense personnel, CMS faculty, well-known celebrities of the city and excited students. As the rocket flew, the audience responded with loud applause, cheers and suddenly Bhangra.
140 crore Indians took expectations and aspirations: Modi
PM Modi welcomed the successful launch of the Axiom-4 mission for the international space station and said that Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla has taken the wishes, expectations and aspirations of 140 million Indians with him in this mission. Modi said in a post on ‘X’ that we welcome the successful launch of the space mission that left India, Hungary, Poland and America with astronauts. He said that Group Captain Shukla is on the way to become the first Indian to go to the international space station. Modi said that he has taken with him the wishes, expectations and aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians. Happy success to him and other astronauts.
