A new ray of hope has been looked for victims of cancer around the world. South Korea scientists have detected a way that will not kill cancer cells, but “re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-remembered” in common, healthy cells.
This revolutionary research has been conducted by the Cognitive Institute of Science and Technology, and has recently published in Advanced Science Journal. So far, the chemotherapy and radiation of cancer have been used to cause cancer cells but also harm the normal body cells. On the contrary, the Kaist team has developed a new technology that replaces them into normal cells instead of eliminating cancer cells.
AI Tool Benein:
The back of this technology is a special AI system – Benein (Boolean Networrance). This tool understands the Jean network within cancer cells and decides which genes should be closed so that the cell is usually normal. In this study, scientists found only three genes – BYB, HDAC2 and FOXA2, cancer identifying cells also begin to behave.
A successful testing on rats
This technique was tried on the colon cancer (large organ cancer) cells. When given special treatment to these cells, it was not just behaving as common cells, but also the size of the rats were reduced. In addition, the signs of healthy intestines like KRT20 and VDR also began to appear in cells.
However, this technology is currently focused on colon cancer, researchers believe that AI-based benein system can also be applied to other types of cancer. However, scientists have made it clear that it is still in the initial stage and will have to complete many more steps before human testing.
A new age in cancer therapy
This research is considered a non-Taxic and individual therapy in the treatment of cancer treatment. If this technique is successful, the future may reduce the need for chemotherapy and radiation.
