The Russian President’s Office and the official residence ‘Kremlin’ said on Thursday that President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinfing have agreed to provide sensitive information on the Iran-Israel war to each other.
Kremlin’s foreign policy advisor Yuri Ushakov said, “President Putin and Xi Chinfing agreed to issue orders to their respective agencies to share information about Iran during an hour-long conversation.”
Last week, Israel started ‘Operation Rising Lion’, targeting Iran’s nuclear, missile and military infrastructure. Later, Iran also retaliated on Israel.
On Wednesday, Russia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) appealed to expedite political and diplomatic efforts to immediately end the Israeli-Iran war and resolve Tehran’s nuclear issue. According to Kremlin, President Putin discussed the issue during a telephone conversation with his UAE counterpart Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
