Modi’s pretext and Bhagwat Katha means

On the one hand, while the country’s dock media, especially the television operation sindoor, is engaged in tying the bride of Prime Minister Narendra Modi instead of the army, on the other hand, many leaders sitting inside the BJP are staring at Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, when they will speak. They speak less. But the BJP shakes by his speaking. And when they do not speak, they speak silently. The Modi camp is disappointed with the reaction that the Sangh chief recently reacted in the context of ‘Operation Sindoor’ after the Pahalgam terror attack.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat appreciated the army and government on the post -Pahalgam attack while addressing the closing ceremony of worker development class II in Nagpur. But despite being the leader of his own party, Bhagwat neither mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi, nor used the word ‘Samaj’ instead of ‘Operation Sindoor’ or ‘Ceasefire’, and ‘Hindu Samaj’. This silence and careful selection of words raises many questions. Why is Mohan avoiding Modi’s name? The reason will be understood further. But first talk of discipline.
Former Sarsanghchalak M.S. Golwalkar (Guruji) used to say, “The person is not important, the idea is important.” But since becoming Prime Minister, Modi became much bigger than the Sangh. Therefore it is important to understand Bhagwat’s displeasure.

Bhagwat said, “A heartfelt greetings of the leadership and military forces of the Government of India for the decisive action being taken on Pak -sponsored terrorists and their supporter ecosystems after Pahalgam’s cowardly terrorist incident.” He also praised political parties and society, but also said that “it did not end the problem.”
From the opposition to the defense-ray and media experts are asking questions to the government. Many have also started calling it the blunder of the Modi government. Whatever the world says, the Sangh chief matters. And will keep a lot when the Sangh also takes decisions on time. A year after the incident in Manipur, the Sangh chief’s response came and has not yet been solved.

‘The problem is not over’: Mohan Bhagwat
This statement of Bhagwat cannot only be considered a ‘off-hand’ comment. His saying that “the crisis is intact” and “the problem was not resolved,” Bhagwat appealed to the countrymen to support the army and the government after the ‘Operation Sindoor’ started on 9 May 2025, but the sudden ceasefire made the Sangh confused.
For decades, the BJP and the Sangh Parivar have been accusing the Congress that it did not capture Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) on several occasions including 1971. So now that the army was bringing Pakistan to his knees during the Modi government, why was the ceasefire?
Opposition’s questions and union’s silence
Bhagwat’s statement comes at a time when the opposition is demanding a special session of Parliament on ‘Operation Sindoor’. The major questions of the opposition are:
– Why did the Foreign Minister inform Pakistan when the operation started?
– When the army was winning, why the ceasefire?
– Why did America announce the ceasefire?
– Trump spoke of arbitration 14 times, but why did Modi not deny it?
– Why was Kashmir considered American mediation instead of placing a bilateral issue?
– Did five aircrafts, including Rafael fall in the operation, as claimed?
The Chief of Defense Staff General of the Indian Army Anil Chauhan said in an interview that more important than the number of aircraft is why they fall. The government is avoiding answering these questions. The question is also that when PM Modi visited more than 80 countries, why did not anyone come together except only two-three countries in this war? Is this not a failure of foreign policy? Bhagwat’s silence says a lot on these issues.
Bhagwat’s emphasis on ‘society’
This time Bhagwat used the word ‘Samaj’ instead of ‘Hindu Samaj’ in his statement. They have already said that “Muslims are also Hindus and are part of society.”
In the Pahalgam attack, the Narrator of the murder by asking religion by the terrorists tried to spoil communal harmony. But Kashmiri Muslims took out rallies against terrorism and demolished this narrator.
In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi first ordered Muslim shopkeepers to put a nameplate, then banned his entry into Mahakumbh. However, the slogans of Modi-Yogi were drowned in the same confluence when the Muslims of Prayagraj presented the example of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb by giving shelter in their homes to thousands of stampede affected.
The Supreme Court had to stay on bulldozer action against Muslims in UP. Bhaiyaji Joshi of the Sangh had to say on issues like tarpaulin on mosques, finding temples, and digging the grave of Aurangzeb that “Aurangzeb was born here and his grave will remain here.”
Sangh differences with Modi
The differences of the Sangh are not with Modi or BJP, not with Modi’s working style. In the 2024 election, the BJP gave the slogan of ‘400 crosses’ and campaigned aggressively, seeing the opposition as an enemy. Modi made communal statements like ‘Mangalsutra’, ‘intruders’ and ‘Bantoge too katoog’. Bhagwat kept explaining that the opposition is also equal. It also said that “Hindutva is not a religion, but a way of life” and “Muslims and Christians are also part of the society,” but their voices were pressed into the noise of Modi’s aggressive propaganda.
On the occasion of the inauguration of Ram temple, the Sangh chief had taught to adopt Rama’s dignity and his character. Bhagwat once said, “A true servant is not arrogant.” The Sangh kept reminding its top leader of values, dignity and discipline and the Modi government kept talking about its mind.
On the contrary, Modi made the party self-centered in 11 years, promoting ‘Modi’s guarantee’ instead of the party. And called it necessary to win the election and kept the Sangh closed. But when the BJP did not get an absolute majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Sangh has been insisting on strengthening the BJP’s organization. Another thing pierced the Sangh – even before the last Lok Sabha election results, BJP President JP Nadda created a sensation by saying that the BJP has now become big and capable, it does not need the Sangh’s instructions.
In the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi, who came in a minority with 240 seats, called himself a leader without calling a meeting of the BJP executive or without consulting the Sangh. That is why now the Sangh wants to make its confidant the president, while Modi-Shah wants full control over the party with the government for 2029.
Modi’s double attitude and the Sangh’s views attack
Modi first shouted communal slogans like ‘Banto Yoi Too Koo Yoge’, but by sending ‘Saugat e Modi’ on Eid, it was confused by the BJP supporters. Not only this, the Sangh stands on the basic views of Savarkar’s Hindu unity and has always been opposed to reservation with caste system, Bhagwat and Modi themselves have also spoken against it, that Modi suddenly approved Rahul Gandhi’s demand to calculate castes in the next census, then the entire Sangh Parivar was shaken. This was an attack on the thinking of the entire Sangh, including Savarkar. Bhagwat may say that “Muslims are also Hindus and are part of society”, they never said that they no longer talk about Hindu unity. The question is that after the decision of Modi’s census, what Sangh workers will now say in the branches.
BJP president’s post controversy and 75 years rule
An important screw is stuck between the Sangh and Modi -Shah – the election of the party president of the BJP. This difference has continued for one year. In March 2025, Modi went to Nagpur, and on 30 May Bhagwat met Modi in Delhi, but the issue remained unresolved.
Modi made a rule to retire leaders at the age of 75, leaders like Advani, Joshi were also retired. Now in September 2025, Modi himself will be 75 years old. Party leaders want this rule to apply to them too. But he is not in the mood to leave the post.
According to sources, the Modi camp has tried to convince Bhagwat that his government has fulfilled all the agenda of the Sangh. There is just a issue of a Pak -pushed terrorism, so they need to get complete control of the party with the government. But since the party president will decide the name of the next Prime Minister of the party, Modi wants to choose the president of his choice, but the Sangh is no longer in the mood to give Modi a chance.
That is why the election of the party president is important. As soon as the party president is decided, it will also be decided who will finally go and who will become the king.
