Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj of Shri Akal Takht Sahib made an important announcement in Fatehgarh Sahib. He said that immediate action will be taken on any incident of disrespect of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Emphasis on unity of Sikh creed
Jathedar emphasized the unity of the Sikh creed. Raising a serious issue, he said that there is injustice to Sikh history in the school curriculum. Schools mention only those wars in which the Sikh army faced defeat. He said that the victory stories and sacrifice stories of Sikhs are not included in the syllabus. There is a need to improve the course on this subject.
