Recently, the Metro actress Fatima Sana Sheikh of these days commented on casting couch in the South Film Industry. After a dispute over this, the actress has clarified her comment. Fatima said that whatever she said was about a particular incident, but the entire South film industry is not like this.

Let me tell you that earlier this year, Fatima talked about a conversation with a casting agent for a South Indian film and told how her gestures made her uncomfortable.

Talking to News18, Fatima said that what she shared was taken out of the context and exaggerated. Fatima said that she dealt with her casting couch experience and moved forward.

I was talking about it and suddenly, it became a big thing. This was not necessary. Every woman goes through it. A woman can walk on the road and a man can put a thread on her or tease it. It happens everywhere and in every industry. I do not know why my words were taken out of the context and why it was buried. This is nonsense! Something like this has happened. I dealt with this and moved forward.

 

Fatima said that everyone goes through such things. He further said, ‘It was not as big as it was shown. Everyone goes through such things. The person who is being talked about was a small producer or casting director. It does not fully represent the South Film Industry.
