CM Himanta accused Gaurav’s wife Elizabeth Kalbourne of being associated with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday alleged that a person working in the country received salary from Pakistan for three years.
Himanta has made the allegation with the SIT investigating the relations between his colleagues in the Pakistani Planning Commission, Ali Tauqir Sheikh, who is investigating the relations between his colleagues.
When asked about the SIT investigation in Goahati, Sarma said that SIT has received important documents in the last two months. It clearly revealed that a person received salary from Pakistan.
The Assam Police had registered an FIR on 17 February amidst a dispute over the Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi’s wife’s Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.
Apart from this, SIT was created to investigate Tauqir’s comment on social media on India’s internal affairs.

Congress bid- is a campaign to discredit Gogoi Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh wrote on X on 16 February- Assam’s CM and BJP have started a campaign to discredit my colleague Gaurav Gogoi. This is a cheap form of character violations.
This is happening because Gaurav won the Lok Sabha elections even after the BJP put full emphasis. In 12 months, the people of the state will make him (Himanta Biswa Sarma) former CM and will make his party sit in opposition.
In response, Sarma tweeted- who will be the Chief Minister, the people of Assam will decide, not you. I do not want to remind you of the derogatory defeat of Congress from 2014.
BJP said- Rahul Gandhi and Gogoi are weakening India BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia on February 13 accused Gaurav Gogoi’s wife of being associated with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. Bhatia had said- Rahul Gandhi had said a few days ago that his fight is with the Indian State.
Now Gogoi’s wife’s relations have come out of ISI of Pakistan. Alijabeth Kalbourne, Gogoi’s wife, worked with Gogoi’s wife Elizabeth Kalbourne along with the advisor of Pakistan Planning Commission. Rahul Gandhi and Gogoi are weakening India.
