An Air India aircraft going from Thailand to New Delhi had to make an emergency landing after receiving a bomb threat in the aircraft on Friday. Flight Number AI 379 flew from 156 passengers at 9:30 am (0230 GMT) from Fuket International Airport. However, after circling around the Andaman Sea, the aircraft returned to the island of Thai according to emergency processes. AOT did not disclose specific details about the bomb threat. Air India has not issued any statement on the matter. The incident occurred shortly after the Air India aircraft flew in Ahmedabad, a day after the crash, resulting in more than 240 people. There is an increase in bomb threats in India’s aviation sector. According to official data, about 1,000 fake calls and messages were recorded in the first 10 months of the previous year – which is about ten times more than the total number of 2023.
