According to the report of Media Channel India TV, the death toll in Ahmedabad aircraft accident has increased to 297. Out of 242 people aboard the aircraft, 241 killed, while only one passenger is left alive in this accident. Among the dead were 229 passengers and 12 crew members. Apart from this, the aircraft collided with a medical college hostel, killing 56 people present there at that time.
National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) officer Hariom Gandhi said on Friday that six teams of NDRF are working at the Ahmedabad aircraft accident site and the total number of casualties will be revealed only when the accident site is completely cleared. Talking to reporters at the scene, NDRF official Hariom Gandhi said, “Our team is on standby and is working. Our six teams are working on the ground. Wait for some time … until the scene is completely cleared, we cannot tell any number.”
