Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met members of seven multilateral delegations, who went on a visit to more than 30 countries to highlight India’s tough stance against terrorism after Operation Sindoor. These meetings were held at the Prime Minister’s residence a day after completing 11 consecutive years at the center of the NDA government. Modi obtained feedback on the visits to the delegations, which aims to highlight Pakistan -sponsored terrorism after the Pahalgam massacre on 22 April.

Modi wrote on X that met members of various delegations representing India in various countries and discussed in detail the need to end India’s commitment to peace and the need to end the threat of terrorism. The way he carried forward the voice of India, we are all proud of it. Seven multi -party delegations with more than 50 MPs, diplomats and former MPs from various political parties were sent to 33 countries from May 21 to form a united, democratic front to highlight the terrorist threat from Pakistan.

Four of the seven multi -party delegations were led by MPs of the ruling NDA coalition, including representatives of JD (U) and Shiv Sena (Shinde), while the remaining three were led by opposition MPs. BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda, Congress’s Shashi Tharoor, Sanjay Jha of JD (U), Srikanth Shinde of Shiv Sena, Kanimozhi of DMK and Supriya Sule of NCP (SP) led seven delegations to convey India’s policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism.
