FIR registered against 24 nominated and 50 unidentified people on finding the remains of cow dynasty in Mathura, 11 arrested

In Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, police registered an FIR against 24 people nominated and 50 unidentified persons after finding the remains of the cow dynasty near Idgah on Barsana Road. The police gave this information on Sunday. He said that 11 accused have been arrested in this case.

According to the police, tension spread on Saturday near Idgah on Barsana Road due to the remnant of the cow dynasty. Police said that activists of Hindu organizations were enraged when the burnt body of cow dynasty was found on the ‘service lane’ of Yamuna Expressway in Mont area.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shlok Kumar said, “The remains of the cow dynasty were found near Idgah late Saturday evening. On receiving this information, members of the Goraksha Dal and people of local Hindu organizations reached the spot and started committing uproar.”

He said, “We reached the spot at night. Considering the people to calm down and on the complaint of Gaurakshak Dheeraj Kaushik, an FIR lodged against 24 people and an FIR lodged against 50 unidentified people is being searched for those who put meat pieces with the help of AcastiV cameras.”

The SSP said that strict action will be taken against the culprits. Meanwhile, late evening police said that on the basis of CCTV footage and evidence found from the investigation, 11 accused in this case have been arrested under the UP Govadh Prevention Act and sent to jail after completing the legal process.

The arrested accused include Sakir, Sohil, Wait, Ansar, Pintu, Asin, Sunny, Usman, Feroz, Farukh and Shekhar etc. All these are residents of Jain Gali, Govardhan. According to the police, two knives and two axes have been recovered from their possession and horn and skins kept in a sack at the scene.

Police said that these accused had carried out the incident of Gokshi in an empty plot behind the gym located on Barsana Road on Saturday evening, after which people saw pieces of cow and meat lying there.

Gunjan Singh, the police officer (CO) of the Mont area, said that on the service lane of the Yamuna Expressway in the Manat area on Saturday, there was anger among the workers of the Hindu organization and started a ruckus among the activists of the Hindu organization. He said that the people present on the occasion say that the dead body of the cow was lying there for two-three days and on Saturday someone put grass on it and set it on fire.

On receiving information about this, Hinduist activists started committing uproar to register a case and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ashok Saraswat lodged a complaint on behalf of Radharani Goseva Trust.

Inspector (SHO) of Mont’s station in -charge Jasbir Singh said that the remains of the cow dynasty were taken into possession and efforts are being made to identify the people present around the scene with the help of monitoring evidence.
