Workshop on mental health and emotional empowerment at Delhi Teacher University!

Delhi. A workshop on mental health and emotional empowerment was organized on June 3 at Delhi Teachers University, in which famous psychiatrist Dr. Amresh Srivastava apprised students, teachers and academics about various aspects of mental health.
The purpose of this workshop was to improve the mental health of teachers and students and provide strategies to stress, depression fighting and maintain mental balance.
Dr. Amresh Srivastava said in his address, “In today’s era, mental health cannot be ignored. The harmony of emotion and logic is necessary. Awareness and mental balance for the purpose of his life is the foundation of a strong society.”
Those participating in the workshop were introduced to techniques such as stress management, self-compassion, psychological resilience, and positive dialogues. The participants were made aware of the practical aspects of meditation, faith, spirituality and emotional expression.
Welcoming Dr. Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of Delhi Teachers University, Professor Dhananjay Joshi said, “This workshop will be helpful not only for teachers, but also in the overall development of students!”
Dr. Amresh Srivastava described the review of the causes of stress as the first step to remain stress free.
The Registrar of the University, Dr. Sanjeev Rai thanked Dr. Srivastava and said that- “The university administration is alert to bring awareness about mental health among the students and the programs will continue to be organized as per the need of students on this subject.”
On behalf of the university, Dr. Saroj Malik Department-President, Mr. Prakash Pandey, other teachers, employees, and students were present in the workshop and all were present and all described the workshop as an extremely useful and inspirational experience.
