A woman was robbed in Kapurthala on Wednesday evening. The woman was going to the market on Scooty. Then two masked bike riders snatched the earrings from the ears of the robbers. The police have registered a case on the victim’s complaint.

According to the information, two masked bike riders snatched the earrings from the woman near Christ King School on Kartarpur Road at 7.30 pm. The victim is a resident of Poonam Syal Phagwara. She came on her maternal grandfather Greater Kailash Kartarpur Road. At the time of the incident, she was going to the market on Activa with her husband Dapinder Syal.
The robbers came from behind and carried out the incident and escaped towards DC Chowk.

During the robbery, Poonam’s husband barely maintained control of the Activa. This averted a major accident.
