A US appellate court refused to stay the order of a California judge on Friday to stop the order of the administration -headed administration of the country’s President Donald Trump to cut the federal workforce. It is a matter of fact that the government will be postponed for the current labor force cuts recommended by the Department of Efficiency (DOGE).
The Republican administration had requested immediate stopping the order issued by San Francisco Judge Susan Istan in the trial filed by several cities and labor unions including San Francisco and Chicago.
The judge raised the question in his order whether the trump administration’s attempt to remove federal employees is legally correct. Trump has repeatedly stated that the voters have given him a mandate to form a federal government renewed and he assigned US billionaire Alan Musk the responsibility of DOGE’s leadership. Thousands of employees have been fired or sent on leave.
There is no official figure of how many employees have been removed but the number of such employees is said to be at least 75,000. Apart from this, thousands of probationary employees were already fired.
