In Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi highlighted the success of Operation Sindoor, shown collapsed Kotli and Bhimbar terrorist camps

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday showed pictures of the terrorist camps destroyed by the Indian Armed Forces in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) in the 122nd episode of his monthly radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Let me tell you, this was the first episode of PM Modi after the success of Operation Sindoor.

Prime Minister Modi praised the Indian Armed Forces for targeting terrorist bases and showed the destroyed bases ‘Gulpur and Abbas Camp in Kotli and Barnala Camp in Bhimbar’ for the accurate attacks. Gulpur Camp served as a major basis for Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) militants operating in Rajouri and Poonch regions of Jammu and Kashmir, while Abbas Camp served as a central center to train Lashkar’s suicide bages.

 

Prime Minister Modi said, ‘The accuracy and accuracy with which our forces destroyed the terrorist bases across the border are extraordinary. Operation Sindoor is not just a military mission; This is a picture of our resolve, courage and changing India and this picture has filled the spirit of patriotism across the country and has painted it in the color of the tricolor. Today the whole country is united against terrorism, is full of anger and determination. Prime Minister Modi, following the spirit of ‘self -sufficient India’, credited the success of the mission to the domestic defense capabilities of India.

After gathering reliable evidence of cross -border relations of Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, India carried out accurate attacks under ‘Operation Sindoor’ on 7 May and attacked nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK. In these attacks, many camps of terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) and Hizbul Mujahideen were successfully destroyed. More than 100 terrorists were killed in it.
