As part of India’s continuous commitment in the global fight against terrorism, an all-party parliamentary delegation led by DMK’s Kanimozhi Karunanidhi held several high-level meetings in the Russian Federation. The delegation interacted with members of both houses of the Russian Parliament and major think tanks. He said that India had no choice but to respond. But when India responded, we responded responsibly. We ensured that no citizen was affected, there is no harm to military bases.

The DMK leader said that we only targeted establishments where terrorists were sheltered and trained. He continued retaliation, targeted gurudwaras, temples, residential areas where Indian citizens lived, and even our military bases. He further said that from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all have made efforts to bring permanent peace between India and Pakistan.
He said that we have always taken initiative in this direction, but unfortunately, whenever peace talks are going on, we also have to suffer losses due to terrorist attacks in different parts of India, and every time it is related to Pakistan. After all, now the time has come not to accept any excuse and tell the truth the truth. The Prime Minister clearly stated that there are no two different things to sponsor terrorism and terrorism.

MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK), Rajiv Rai (SP), Captain Brijesh Chauta (BJP), Prem Chand Gupta (RJD), Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal (AAP) and former Ambassador Manjeev S Puri laid a wreath at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the Indian Embassy in Moscow. Indian Ambassador to Russian Association Vinay Kumar warmly welcomed the delegation.
