Trump again claimed to ‘resolve’ Indo-Pak struggle through ‘trade’

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday reiterated his claim that he ‘solved’ the recent struggle between India and Pakistan through ‘trade’.

Trump said in the Oval Office during a meeting with South African President Cyril Ramfosa, “If you see what we did with Pakistan and India.” We have solved that whole matter, and I think I have solved it through business. ”

He said that America is making a ‘big deal’ with both India and Pakistan. The US President said, “I am hating to say that on one hand we resolved this issue, but something happened two days later, and he said that it is Trump’s fault.”

Trump said that some of the best people in Pakistan and some are really good and great leaders, but India is his (Trump) friend. To this the South African President replied, “Modi is a shared friend.” The US President has repeatedly claimed that he helped reduce the tension between India and Pakistan.
