MP Priyanka Gandhi apprised the people of Wayanad about the progress of rail services

Congress General Secretary and MP from Wayanad Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday shared a wide note with the people of her constituency, in which she informed about the steps taken to improve railway services and infrastructure in the area.

According to the note shared by Priyanka’s media team, the Wayanad MP spoke about the ongoing efforts to solve the long -standing railway issues affecting daily passengers and residents.

The Lok Sabha member said that after several requests and complaints of passengers, he held a review meeting on May 5 with senior officials of Palakkad Division of Southern Railway. The purpose of this meeting was to assess the status of various railway projects and find ways to complete them soon.

The main subjects of discussion included major projects such as Vaniumballum Road Overbridge and Neelambur Road Underbridge, which are important to improve the traffic congestion.

Priyanka Gandhi assured the people that she was pressurizing railway officials to complete these projects on time. The MP also attracted attention to the improving reforms employed under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme’ in Nilambur and the construction of new crossing stations in Meltur and Kulukallur. These initiatives are expected to increase the number of train services on major routes.
