KL Rahul completed his 8,000 runs in T20 cricket during the Delhi Capital and Gujarat Titans. KL Rahul needed 33 runs to reach the 8,000 -run figure. As soon as Rahul scored the 33rd against Gujarat, he defeated Virat Kohli.
Rahul took 244 innings to complete the 8,000 run mark. He has left Kohli behind. Virat completed his 8 thousand T20 runs in the 243rd innings. Accordingly, KL Rahul has taken 19 innings from him.
Overall, KL Rahul is now the third fastest player in the world to score 8,000 runs in T20 cricket. Ahead of him is only veteran Chris Gayle and former Pakistan captain Babar Azam. At the same time, T20 is ranked 36th in terms of scoring the most runs in cricket.
