Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the Center for failing to ensure adequate security arrangements for 26 tourists killed on April 22 in the Basaron Valley of South Kashmir, calling Operation Sindoor a ‘small war’. Earlier, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi claimed on Saturday that the government informed Pakistan about this at the beginning of Operation Sindoor, which is a crime.

The Bharatiya Janata Party reversed Rahul Gandhi, accusing Jaishankar’s statement of incorrectly presenting and said that he was trying to divert attention from issues through superficial and misleading discourse. Rahul Gandhi posted a video of a statement by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on ‘X’ and claimed that the government admitted that it had informed Pakistan at the beginning of an airstrike.
