Operation Sindoor Chhota War … Mallikarjun Kharge’s big charge on Center, Modi government did not provide security to tourists

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the Center for failing to ensure adequate security arrangements for 26 tourists killed on April 22 in the Basaron Valley of South Kashmir, calling Operation Sindoor a ‘small war’. Addressing the dedication Sankalp rally in Karnataka, the Congress President alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had canceled his Kashmir tour after receiving an intelligence report three days before the Pahalgam terror attack last month.

On the Pahalgam terror attack, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that 26 people were killed in Pahalgam because the Modi government did not provide security to tourists there. Modi did not go to Kashmir because intelligence agencies refused to do so. Targeting the central government, Kharge said that why did you not ask tourists to go there (Pahalgam)? If you had told them, the lives of 26 people could have been saved and this small war….

This comment came a day after the Congress accusing the BJP -led government of using a military campaign for political gains before the Bihar assembly elections. Senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s media advisor Piyush Babelle shared a picture of IRCTC e-ticket on social media platform X. Earlier, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi claimed on Saturday that the government informed Pakistan about this at the beginning of Operation Sindoor, which is a crime.

The Bharatiya Janata Party reversed Rahul Gandhi, accusing Jaishankar’s statement of incorrectly presenting and said that he was trying to divert attention from issues through superficial and misleading discourse. Rahul Gandhi posted a video of a statement by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on ‘X’ and claimed that the government admitted that it had informed Pakistan at the beginning of an airstrike.
