Sunil Shetty explained why he initially turned down the border
When asked why he initially turned down the role of Bhairav ​​Singh in the border, but later accepted it, Sunil said, “I rejected the role because I had heard that JP Dutta was a very strict director, and if he was upset, he used to give abuses. The film is one of the most famous war drama films of Hindi cinema and is the foundation stone of Sunil Shetty’s filmography. Border Dutta had a dream project, which became an all-time blockbuster. Now work is going on on Border 2, which stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahaan Shetty in the lead roles. However, if the reports are to be believed, Diljit has opted out of this project. The film, directed by Anurag Singh and supported by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, is scheduled to release in theaters on 23 January 2026.
