Both these matches will be held in the grounds of Mullanpur which were to be played in Hyderabad first.

The BCCI said in a statement on Tuesday that the IPL 2025 final will be held on June 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This ground will also host the qualifier 2 on 1 June. At the same time, the qualifier will be played on May 29 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on 1 and 30 May. Earlier, the IPL final was to be played in Kolkata on 25 May. Qualifier 2 was also to be held at Eden Gardens. Qualifier 1 and Eliminator Match were to be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The BCCI said in a statement that, the IPL Governing Council has decided on the new venue of the playoffs keeping in mind the weather conditions and other things. The board has also confirmed that an additional time of one hour has been allocated for the circumstances of playing the rest of the league stage similar to the playoff stage. It will begin on Tuesday with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
