Walking Tall and James Bond Actor Joe Don Baker died at the age of 89


Actor who has died at the age of 89, who has died at the age of 89, known for his role in Walking Toll and his role in three James Bond films. His family announced that he died on 7 May. The cause of death was not released.

According to Fox News report, Baker made his debut on screen with television series Honey West in 1965 and attracted early attention with a role in the 1967 film Cool Hand Luke. He got a big break in 1973 with a walking toll, where he played the role of Sherford Bufford Puser, which received widespread praise. He also gained fame for his roles in James Bond films, The Living Dellites (1987), Goldeni (1995), and Tumoro Never Dies (1997).

Born on 12 February 1936, Grosbek, Texas, Baker received a Business Administration degree from North Texas State College before serving a two -year in the US Army. He later moved to New York City to train as an actor at the world famous actors studio before making his film and television debut.

Joe was known for his work in films like ‘Goldeni’, ‘The Living Dellites’, ‘Congo’ and ‘Cape Fear’. He worked in three James Bond films, ie The Living Dellites, Goldeni and Tumoro Never Dies. The actor was last seen in the 2012 film ‘Mud’ and the same year he retired from acting.

According to his mortality, during his acting career, till his retirement in 2012, he acted in ruling films, including his hit films ‘Walking Toll’, ‘Michelle’ and others.

In 2014, he won the Robert Altman Award for his performance in ‘Mud’ directed by Jeff Nichols. He also earned BAFTA TV nomination for the best actor for his role in the 1985 television series ‘Age of Darkness’.

According to the actor’s death, he has a family in Grosbek. The funeral will be held at Mission Hills, California to honor Don’s life.
