Bla shows how Pakistani army was forced to kneel, Jafar Express Hijack released video

Two months after the dramatic kidnapping of Jafar Express in Balochistan, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) released a 35-minute video, giving details of the operation, whose code name is Darra-e-Bolna 2.0. This footage presents a rare glimpse of the strategy and claims of the separatist group, which denies the official version of Pakistan. The Zafar Express carrying 450 passengers going from Quetta to Peshawar was hijacked on March 11 when BLA fighters blew up railway tracks in the rugged Bollana area. The operation carried out by Majeed Brigade and other strategic units of BLA lasted for about 48 hours. The group claims that it caught 214 Pakistani military personnel and took them hostage, while taking out citizens, including women, children and the elderly.

In the video released by BLA’s media wing Hakkal, fighters are seen taking war training, exploding and attacking the train. This includes the statements of the rebels. The attacks in Balochistan for decades of oppression and forcibly disappeared justify the attack. The footage also includes farewell messages from the so -called martyrs of the operation. In the video, a fighter says that our youth have chosen the path of sacrifice to hear the sound of Baloch resistance to the world. The group accuses Pakistan of military occupation and claims that its action follows the principles of international war.

However, Pakistan has presented a completely different story. Officials claim that 33 BLA fighters were killed, 18 soldiers were killed and 354 hostages were rescued. During the crisis, Pakistan Railways suspended the services coming from Balochistan and increased security across the country. After the abduction, Baloch leaders announced the declaration of independence.
