Paddy sowing will begin in Punjab. This time the goal’s goal is to plant paddy with DesR technology in 5 lakh acres. The government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 1500 per acre to the farmers. The basmati growers on the other hand can also earn Rs. 1500 per acre to help direct sowing. The government claims that it will save 15-20 per cent water. On the other hand, there will be Rs 3500 per acre.
The Punjab Government has the fall of the greatest the glorious water right now. 112 blocks of the state are in the Dark Zone. The water has gone up to 600 to 700 feet while first was ease of water on 20 to 25 meters. In such a case, the government is focusing on direct sowing of paddy to save water.

The government was considered by 2.53 lakh acres in 2.53 lakh acres, which was 47 per cent as against 2023. In 2024 farmers, 21,338 farmers were supported by Rs 29.02 crore while direct sowing will have benefited the farmers. There will be 15 to 20 per cent of the water.
