Sukhjit Kaur’s husband is in Canada and she herself lived at home. One day he received a call from a woman. The woman lured him to earn good earnings by working online at home. The accused first invested 5 thousand rupees. Then gradually implicated in talks and got up to two and a half lakh rupees.

When the money was not returned, Sukhjit refused to invest further. But the accused lured him more profits with old money. The thug said that it is necessary to meet the target to get the money. In this way, a total of 9.47 lakh rupees were cheated. The victim lodged a complaint with the cybercrime department. According to ASI Jagroop Singh, the police have registered a case against the female thug and started investigation.
