85 people waiting for relief material in Gaza

The Ministry of Health of Palestine region has said that 85 people were killed in firing while waiting for relief assistance at various places in Gaza on Sunday. According to the Health Ministry and local hospitals, the most died in North Gaza, where the Jikim border with Israel killed at least 79 Palestinians waiting for the relief material coming in North Gaza.

According to hospitals, more than 150 people have been injured, some of whom are in critical condition. Some eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli army opened fire on the crowd. According to the Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital, seven planets took refuge in the camp at Khan Younis, including a five -year -old child.

The firing in Northern Gaza did not take place with the assistance distribution centers associated with the Humanitarian Fund (GHF). The GHF is an American and Israel -backed group that distributes food items to Palestinians.

Military spokesperson Avichay Adrai has called upon the people to go towards the Mousi area. The region is a deserted tent camp located on the southern coast of Gaza where basic facilities are very limited and the region has been declared a human area by the Israeli army.

This announcement has been made at a time when Israel and Hamas Qatar are holding ceasefire talks, but international mediators say that there is no success in it. Earlier this month, the Israeli army stated that it has more than 65 percent of the Gaza strip control.
