8 mobiles from Kapurthala Jail: Superintendent started checking, FIR against 6 people – Kapurthala News


The administration has taken major action in Kapurthala Central Jail. 8 phones have been recovered in a search operation conducted in different barracks of the jail. Assistant Superintendent Surinderpal Singh conducted a checking operation with CRPF and jail guards. During this, two mobile phones were recovered from prisoners Navdeep Singh alias Nav, Hawalati Maninder Singh and Hawalati Vishal alias Shalu. These have been found including mobile SIM and battery.

In another search, the CRPF team found two mobile phones in unclaimed condition. In all cases, the jail administration has informed the police station police station. The police have registered a case against 2 prisoners, 3 hawalati and one person.

Apart from this, the jail’s assistant superintendent Surinderpal Singh recovered a battery including a phone, SIM from the possession of the village Boh, a resident of Hawalati Lovepreet Singh alias Love, during the search operation. The jail management took the information and informed the police station police. The police have registered a case against Hawalati on the basis of the complaint.
