The Ludhiana countryside police conducted a big Kaso operation in village Ghalib Kalan on Sunday. The campaign, led by SSP Dr. Ankur Gupta, was involved in 157 policemen, including three DSPs. The police first prepared the village map and sealed all the entry routes

During the operation, special monitoring houses of drug trafficking were specially monitored. The teams conducted a thorough search of the suspected houses, in which from beds to bathrooms were investigated. During the operation, the police investigated 133 people and 319 vehicles. 41 challans were cut.
Six cases registered, 8 accused arrested
At the same time, 8 drug smugglers were arrested after registering six cases. In the search, 33 grams of heroin, 80 intoxicating bullets and drug money of 4 thousand 600 rupees were recovered. SSP Dr. Gupta gave a strong warning to the drug smugglers. He said that the intoxicator, whether small or big, will be sent to jail. No one will be spared.
