Reiterating the commitment of the Punjab government to provide quality school education to the students, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that for this purpose 117 schools of eminence have been opened in the state and a portal has been started for admission in these schools. Will be open till March 10. In these schools, 75 percent students will be from government schools. He appealed to the parents of the children to enroll them in the School of Eminence so that the future of the children can be improved.

Bains said that in order to ensure maximum admission of students in government schools, the admission campaign of the new session has been started today. Vans will campaign in cities and villages to increase student enrollment in government schools in all districts and to inform the general public about the same. On this occasion, he also flagged off the campaign vans. He said that so far only private schools have been promoting themselves, but now the education department will also be promoting in every corner of the state to inform as many people as possible about the admission process of government schools.

While giving information about the historical decisions and policies taken by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in the field of education, the Education Minister said that for the first time the teachers have been given international level training so that the education system in the government schools has a comprehensive level. can be improved upon. He said that there was a meeting of teachers and parents in which about 19 lakh parents participated and created history. Harjot Bains further said that this year around 1800 new rooms have been prepared in the schools of the state and 300 new schools have been opened.

State schools will also be provided with excellent furniture by next year. He assured that students studying in government schools and their parents will soon be very satisfied with the performance of government schools. Government schools today are far ahead of private schools due to the visibility of government schools, use of digital technology for teaching learning, facilities available to students and highly qualified teachers. At this time, he appealed to the parents to enroll their children in government schools which have overtaken private schools.
