In Ludhiana, Sarabha Nagar Police has registered a case of cheating and criminal betrayal against Meetinder Singh Mann, a resident of Sector 28 of Chandigarh and his 9 accomplices. 7 from a real estate company in Ludhiana in a land investment deal in Mohali on these people

The accused have been identified as Daljit Singh, Kasturi Lal, Harmeet Singh, Rajwant Kaur, Kuldeep Kaur, Surinder Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Manjeet Kaur and Gurdeep Kaur.
The case has been registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by Real Estate and Infrastructure Development Company of Ludhiana, Pradeep Kumar of Janpath Villa of village Jhamt.
According to the complaint, the company wanted to expand its operations in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) and was looking for investment opportunities in and around New Chandigarh.
The accused told himself special
He said that Mitinder Singh Mann allegedly approached the complainant’s company and presented himself as a specialist with a good contact with widespread knowledge of Land Details in New Chandigarh. He promised to make the land procurement easier by introducing vendors to the company and assisting in negotiations, claiming significant impact in the region.
Relying on his representation, the firm authorized Mann to work on his behalf to acquire land in Mullanpur Garib Das village in Mohali.
7.61 crore rupees transferred to Mann’s account between April and September 2022
Between April and September 2022, the company transferred Rs 7.61 crore to Mann’s account to use the money to buy land from various persons including Daljit Singh, Kasturi Lal, Rajwant Kaur, Bhupinder Singh, Kuldeep Kaur, Surinder Kaur, Daljit Singh, Gurdeep Katin, Baljinder Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh,
The complainant alleged that Mann allegedly shared copies of several sales agreements to maintain the company’s trust and continued demand for further funds.
However, the promised sales deeds (deed of cells) and registry never realized, and when the complainant began pressing for the execution of legal transfer, the value allegedly stopped responding.
The company alleges that Rs 7.61 crore was paid, out of which about 4.55 crore rupees were grabbed directly in the name of earning amount and land purchase system.
On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 406, 420 and 120B of IPC against Mitinder Singh Mann and nine others. ASI Umesh Kumar, who is investigating the case, said that further investigation is going on and the police is in the process of confirming the financial transactions and identifying all the people involved.
