The CBI has released the complete details of the belongings found in the house and farmhouse of Punjab Police Ropar Range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar. 7.5 crore cash, two and a half kilos of gold, jewellery, luxury watches, weapons, bank accounts, details and more than 50 property documents were found from the house in Chandigarh.
Meanwhile, cash and cartridges along with liquor were recovered from a farmhouse in Ludhiana. Apart from this, 21 lakh cash and some documents were recovered from the middleman’s house.
Where did the CBI get what…
Rs 7.5 crore in cash, 2.5 kg of gold jewellery, 26 luxury watches including a Rolex and a Rado, 4 firearms with 100 live cartridges, locker keys, details of several bank accounts and more than 50 property documents were recovered from the house in Chandigarh Sector 40. Some of these properties are in the name of family members; Some may be anonymous.
108 bottles of liquor, Rs 5.70 lakh in cash and 17 live cartridges have been recovered from DIG’s farmhouse in Samrala, Ludhiana. There, 21 lakh rupees in cash and several suspicious documents were recovered from the middleman’s house.
On Friday, the DIG and his middleman Krishna were produced before a special CBI court in Chandigarh. From there, they were sent to 14-day judicial custody.
During this hearing, Bhullar covered his face with a handkerchief. The judge then ordered her to remove the handkerchief. When asked by the media, Bhullar simply said, “The court will do justice and I will answer everything.” The DIG will spend the night in Burail Jail.

Meanwhile, Bhullar’s lawyer, H.S. Dhanoa said that Bhullar was taken into custody around 11:30 am, but was arrested at 8 pm. Advocate A.S. Sukhuja said that the court was informed about Bhullar’s medicine. The court said that he should be given medicine as per the rules. Then the court asked to give medicine.
