After a tragic stampede at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, 11 people died and 56 were injured, the Karnataka government has proposed a new law with the aim of making the mob management protocol more strict. The draft bill was discussed in the state cabinet and it is expected that it will be introduced in the monsoon session of the assembly. He has made criminal obligation compulsory for organizing organizers who do not follow safety and mob control norms in the proposed law.

The main provisions of the bill include-
3 years imprisonment
A fine ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh

Classification of violations as non-cognizable and non-bailable offenses
According to the draft, the organizers who will not take prior permission from the police, will fail to manage the mob, negligent in compensation in the event of an incident or violate any provision of the Act, they will have to face strict legal consequences.
