Police resorted to CEIR portal, IMEI number and digital tracking to recover the mobile. Some mobiles were also recovered from other states from the hard work of the cybercrime team. Many people were lost a year ago. Some mobiles were lost six months ago.

Damandeep Kaur, in -charge of cybercrime, has appealed to the people to immediately file a report at the nearest police station if the mobile is lost. He said that a complaint should also be filed on the CEIR portal. Give IMEI number in the report, because it makes the phone tracking easier.
