Police said that in the first case, the police party of CIA Staff Faridkot arrested Deepak alias Billu, a resident of Hargovindpur Basti of Faridkot in an Innova car from Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Chowk, with 268 grams of heroin, computer fork and 52 thousand fake currency.

50 drug bullets recovered

Police of Thana City Faridkot-2 arrested Balwinder Singh alias Gagan of Baghapurana (Moga) near Ferozepur Road Dana Mandi, his wife Sukhjit Kaur alias Sukhi and Kotkapura’s Seema Rani along with 50 grams of drug addicts during the patrol. Similarly, in another case, the police of Thana City Faridkot have recovered 50 drugs from Dipak alias Gutari, a resident of Balbir Basti, near Netaji Subhash Market.

Police will investigate backward-forward link

DSP Trilochan Singh said that 11 cases have been registered against the arrested accused earlier. They will be searched by the court on remand from the court. Faridkot District Police has arrested 458 accused by registering 251 cases of drug smuggling during the last 7 months. Apart from this, 14 people who have been addicted to drug addiction by the police have also been admitted to the drug addiction center.
