5.8 magnitude earthquake tremors were felt in some parts of the northeastern region of the country on Sunday. Assam government officials gave this information.
Officials said that no immediate information has been received about the loss of any kind of life and property. Officials said the earthquake came at 4.41 pm on Sunday evening and its center was in Udalguri district. The earthquake occurred at a depth of five kilometers.
