In the complaint given to the police, the victim’s father Sucha Singh said that in January 2024, I met Davinder Singh, a travel agent of Sanghaoi, Karnal. The agent first proposed the Italy Study Visa and the deal was fixed for Rs 12 lakh. 2 lakh rupees were taken with passports.

In September 2024, the agent proposed to send to America, saying that the visa was closed. Asked for 45 lakh rupees for this. Sahib Singh was sent to the US in October. He spoke to the family till 15 September.

Demand for money from family members in video
This was followed by a video of Sahib Singh and another young man Viraj from Haryana Viraj. Both the youths are seen demanding money from family members in the video. The audio clip of kidnapping also went viral.
On the complaint of the family, Dasuha police have registered a case against agent Davinder Singh and his wife Ramandeep Kaur. Davinder has been taken into custody, while Ramandeep is absconding.
Threatened to kill son
The complainant said that the agent kept refusing to register a complaint with the police, saying that if he lodged a complaint, he would kill the son. When no condition came out for 3 months, on March 8, we complained to the District Police Chief. The investigation of which was registered by DSP of Dasuha and a case was registered on March 28.
