3 separatist gangs arrested in Bathinda, anti-national slogans written on school walls

Punjab Police has arrested three Gurgaon persons belonging to a separatist organization. They were writing anti-national slogans on the walls of schools in Bhisiana and Mananwala villages of Bathinda.

DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the accused are being interrogated, though their identity is yet to be revealed. Preliminary police investigation revealed that the accused had received foreign funding for this purpose, which led them to indulge in anti-national activities.

All three were trying to incite unrest by writing inflammatory slogans. The police took action and arrested them. The police are now investigating how long they were associated with the separatist outfit. They are also checking if they have committed any crime in other districts of Punjab earlier.
