Veteran Marathi actor Achyut Potdar, who regularly working in Hindi films, died on Monday, August 20, 2025. He was 91 years old. The actor died at Jupiter Hospital in Thane, where he was admitted due to health complications. The cause of his death is not yet clear. His last rites will be held in Thane on 19 August. The news of his death came out after the official Instagram handle of a private channel shared a tribute post for him.
In a career of over four decades, Potdar acted in more than 125 films in Hindi and Marathi cinema.
