More than 23 thousand citizens of Pakistan are currently lodged in jails of many countries of the world. They have been convicted on serious allegations like rape, murder and drug smuggling.
According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, the Ministry of External Affairs has given this information in Parliament. A question related to this was asked during the Question Hour at Pakistan’s National Assembly, which the ministry gave a written reply.
In its written response, the ministry said that a total of 23456 Pakistani citizens of Pakistan are lodged abroad. Of these, the maximum number of 12156 is imprisoned in Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi is followed by the second United Arab Emirates (UAE), where 5292 are serving a Pakistani jail sentence.
In China involved in crimes like smuggling and rape
There are also 400 Pakistani shutdowns in China jails. Most of them have been found guilty in serious crimes like drug smuggling, rape, robbery and murder.
According to Dawn’s report, 450 Pakistani citizens closed in Bahrain have been sentenced on drug smuggling, drug possession and fraud. At the same time, Afghanistan has convicted 88 Pakistani citizens in overseas and security -related crimes.
Pakistani citizens record is also poor in Islamic countries. 338 in Qatar, 309 in Oman, Malaysia are serving sentence in 255 Pakistani different crimes.
Number of Pakistani criminals is also increasing in European countries
The number of Pakistani criminals is increasing in many countries of Europe too. 168 in France and 94 in Germany are in Pakistani jail.
In Austria too, Pakistanis have been convicted in cases such as illegal infiltration, human and drug smuggling, murder and sexual harassment, although the number has not been stated.
3 have been convicted in Norway, 3 in Finland, 2 in 9 Denmark in Canada.
Pakistanis accused of rape of girls in Britain
A report was released in the year 2022. It was reported that at least 1400 minor girls had become sexually abused between 1997 and 2013 in the city of Roderham, Cornwal, Derbyshire, Roshadale and Bristol in England. Among the accused were people of Pakistani origin.
Most of the girls were seduced and smuggled by an organized gang. The first case was of the city of Roderham. After this, more similar cases were reported in many cities of Northern England on investigation.
The victims themselves came out, the Pakistani Grooming Gang revealed
In the year 2022, some victims came out themselves and told the world about the atrocities with them. It was told that a gang of people of Pakistani -origin implicated minor girls with drugs, money or brain wash and raped them.
After this, the country Prof. A Committee of Alex J was formed. The committee found that more than 1400 girls were sexually abused between 1997 and 2013. Among the accused were people of Pakistani origin. The committee report recommended action against the guilty Pakistani people.
These incidents of crime were named Roderham Scandal. Later it was also called the Pakistani Grooming Rape Gang. That is, Pakistani youth implicate them under the conspiracy. In some cases, girls also used to have trafficking to European countries.
