In July, Delhi Police has caught 22 foreign nationals including eight Bangladeshis in Dwarka suburb here and sent them to return home. An official provided this information on Wednesday.
Among the foreigners who have been caught are Bangladeshi citizens, eight Nigeria, three from Ivory Coast, two in Liberia and one of Senegal. They were illegally living in the country without a valid visa and were detained from various places in Dwarka.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh said, “He was found living in India without a valid visa. He was produced before the Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO), who ordered his exile. Accordingly, he was sent to the detained center.
