The Bombay High Court in 2015 canceled the life sentence of a person accused of killing his friend near Mumbai railway station, stating that the prosecution case was based on a suspected eyewitness statement and an incredible statement given by an incredible statement. However, a bench of Justice Sarang Kotwal and Justice Shyam Chandak found serious flaws in the prosecution case. He said that the only eyewitness was kept in custody in the police station from midnight to 9 am before his statement was recorded. The bench said that this clearly shows that it is possible that its statement may have been recorded under pressure or to save his life. Under these circumstances, we cannot rely on his evidence. The court cited the post -mortem report.
