In Abohar, Fazilka, the Municipal Corporation team, while taking action on the orders of DC, has caught a huge stock of restricted disposals. About 20 cartoon disposals were recovered in the action taken under the leadership of Sanitary Inspector Kartar Singh.

According to the information, the team recovered glass, spoon and plates of disposal from Pudda Colony on Fazilka Road. The recovered goods have been filled in trolleys and brought to the Municipal Corporation office. Kartar Singh said that the District Deputy Commissioner has banned single use plastic in the entire district.

Search for a person storing disposals
This ban has been imposed for two reasons. First, it is harmful to health. Second, this sewerage becomes the main cause of jam. The corporation’s team is now searching for the person storing the disposal. If caught, action will be taken as per rules. The sanitary inspector has appealed to the people not to use the disposal.
