The Malerkotla police of Punjab arrested a Pakistani officer posted at the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi on charges of informing them under Jasusi activity. Pakistani officer should get the activities of both the accused army and other agencies

Two accused were arrested and produced in court for alleged involvement in detective activities and have been taken on remand. Information has been shared by DGP Gaurav Yadav of Punjab Police about this. He said- Punjab Police will continue to do similar work for the security of the country and the state.

Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav said- Punjab Police has got a significant success. The Malerkotla police arrested two detectives associated with a Pakistani officer posted at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
On the basis of intelligence information, a suspect was arrested for leaking sensitive information about the activities of the Indian Army for leaking a handler in Pakistan. On the basis of the revelations made during interrogation, another accused was identified and he was also arrested.
DGP said- The accused used to take money online
DGP Gaurav Yadav said- Initial investigation has revealed that the accused were receiving payment through online transactions in lieu of confidential information. He was in constant contact with the handler and noted activities with other local youths as per his instructions. Two mobile phones have been recovered by the police from the accused. An FIR has been registered against both of them for anti -national activity.
