NEET examination was conducted on Sunday at the Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidyalaya and Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Faridkot in Punjab, in view of which strong security arrangements were made by the district police.

Out of a total of 480 in Kendriya Vidyalaya, 467, while 164 out of 169 students in Government Girls School appeared in the examination. A total of 18 students were absent at both centers. During the examination, no problem was reported at both places.

On behalf of the district police, on the direction of SSP Dr. Pragya Jain, a police force was deployed under the leadership of SP and DSP level officials for monitoring inside and outside both examination centers. SSP Dr. Pragya Jain also reviewed both the examination centers.

On this occasion, SP Headquarters Manvinder Bir Singh said that not only security arrangements were made by the police administration but other facilities were taken care of for the students and their parents coming for the examination. Drinking water, including parking of their vehicles and their seating, were also made a shady arrangement so that no one would have trouble.
Apart from this, traffic was also taken care of on all the roads of the city so that no student faces any problem in reaching the examination center.
