14 accused of honor killing arrested in Balochistan, CM Bugti said- no matter what, no one is right to kill anyone

The so -called honor killing of a couple in Balochistan, Pakistan has created sensation across the country and the world. The police have arrested 14 suspects in this case so far. According to the Reuters report, the couple was accused of having a extramarital affair. It was earlier told that the couple married their families against the will. So far, 14 suspects have been arrested for this ruthless murder, including local tribal Sardar Sher Baj Satajai, who ordered his murder. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said in a press conference in Quetta that the government will ensure that all the accused are prosecuted.

Reuters quoted Bugti as saying that no matter what happens, no one has the right to kill someone in such a painful and disgusting manner and then make a video of it. This is a crime. This is a murder. The local court on Monday ordered the police to take out the bodies from the tomb and do post -mortem. The case of killings in Balochistan province of Pakistan last month came into the limelight when a video went viral on social media in which a couple was shown shooting.

Provincial police chief Moazzam Jah Ansari told the Reuters in an update on the case that the person who shot and killed the woman was his brother, who was working on behalf of his family and clan. He said that Sher Baz Satkzai, the head of the clan, ordered the murder. Bugti said that the men and women who are accused of having an extramarital affair have many children from different marriages. In the video going viral on social media on Sunday, a person is seen shooting very closely in the woman’s back, and later a blood -soaked person is seen lying near the body of the woman. The men are then shown shooting on both bodies.
