The 1200 kg beef being sent from Amritsar to Mumbai Central was seized at Vadodara railway station on the basis of input. This entire action was taken by the Vadodara Railway Police of Gujarat on the basis of confirmation from Joint Cow Raksha Dal Punjab and FSL. In which 16 boxes of beef seized

This major action started when Gurpreet Singh, chief of the United Gau Raksha Dal Punjab, informed Neha Patel active in Vadodara that beef is being sent to several boxes in the last compartment of the Golden Temple train.

On this information, Neha Patel immediately informed the Kaushal Gondalia of D Staff. After which the team seized 16 boxes of meat from the train on 30 April.

The name of the sender and receiving the sender written on the parcel, on the basis of which the investigation has been started.

Darwaza opened on 20 minutes of efforts

The railway police decided to investigate the train compartment, showing readiness, but the box was not able to open the door. The police team took a tough stance and said, “The door has to be opened, first there will be investigation.” After about 20 minutes of efforts, the door was opened and all the boxes kept in it were taken out. The smell rising from there deepened the apprehension.

Vijay of Amritsar booked the chicken and booked parcels

Samples were sent to Forenic Science Laboratory (FSL), who came to strengthen the case. The report on Saturday has clarified that the seized meat was of cow. This has made this matter serious in terms of both religious spirit and law. After which the local police has registered the FIR under Section 325 of the Code of India (BNS) and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

According to the information, Vijay Singh, a resident of Amritsar in Punjab, sent this beef to Jafar Shabbir, a resident of Mumbai Central. Not only this, Vijay had booked this consignment as chicken. Legal action and inquiry has now been intensified in this case.
