The 100 -foot -high reserves built for storage of wholesale materials in the command area of ’Bharat Coking Coal Limited’ (BCCL) in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand collapsed. A police officer gave this information on Saturday. The official said that a laborer trapped in the debris has been rescued. Baghmara subdivision police officer Purushottam Kumar Singh said that the accident took place late Friday night in Madhuban Wasri of BCCL Block-2 area of Baghmara police station area.

A BCCL official said the investigation of the case is going on. Baghmara MLA Shatrughan Mahato, who visited the spot, said, “There were three storeys in the area. The remaining two are entered from the first storehouse. The storehouse in which the entrance was suddenly collapsed on Friday night. ”

The MLA said that a laborer working in the storehouse was trapped. He said, “On Saturday, the team saved him safely.” The MLA said that the storehouse was constructed six or seven years ago and a company that pursues its work operates it.
