The Mudra Yojana was launched by Prime Minister Modi in 2015, aimed at providing financial assistance to micro and small businesses without a guarantee.
Today, on 8 April, 10 years of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana are over. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) at 9 am on Tuesday morning and congratulated them.
Narendra Modi said, ‘Today, when we are celebrating the completion of 10 years ( #10YEARSOFMUDRA) of the Mudra Yojana. This scheme has strengthened many dreams in reality by strengthening people.
PM Modi said in the post on X- it shows that nothing is impossible for the people of India. Every currency loan brings with it respect, self -respect and opportunity.
The purpose of the Mudra Yojana gives loans to micro and small businesses without guarantee
The Mudra Yojana was launched by Prime Minister Modi in 2015, which aims to provide financial assistance to micro and small businesses without a guarantee. In the last 10 years, 52 crore loan accounts were opened under this scheme and a loan of a total of Rs 33 lakh crore was given. The scheme has 68 percent of the beneficiaries, and 50 percent of the beneficiaries are from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
Prime Minister Modi said to ensure that every entrepreneur get loans. He said, “Entrepreneurs will be able to grow their business with confidence,” he said.
The Finance Ministry shared the changes in logo Zedgi from the Mudra Yojana in a press release on 7 April. In which, Kamlesh, who was a domestic tailor in Delhi, enhanced his business, employed three other women and admitted his children to good school. A woman named Bindu, who used to make 50 brooms earlier every day, now runs a unit making 500 broom.
